Tari Sagigi

Young mother of two, Tari Sagigi’s background is the Torres Straits and Naghir Island. She is new to the Western Cape Indigenous Arts Hub. She has been enjoying screen printing and painting.

Her main inspiration comes from the strength, calmness and love from her mother. Also the beautiful creations of God, especially how every living thing is connected. She would love for one day to inspire other Torres Strait women to pursue their passions and to tell their stories through art.
